Our leadership

Leon joined Vista Entertainment Solutions in 2009, helping to establish the Vista USA office. In the years since, he has held senior roles in Operations and Sales, became President of Vista Entertainment Solutions USA in 2016, and in May 2018, was appointed to his current role leading Vista globally.

Grant joined Vista as a software engineer in 2001, back when one could count the number of engineers on one hand. For two decades, Grant has been the driver behind a series of technological innovations to keep Vista’s products and platforms evolving. He has also sought to incorporate the best modern software development methodologies into the company’s practices, making Vista an agile, reliable provider of cinema solutions to the world. As Chief Operating Officer, Grant’s focus is on delivery and operations, with a goal of constantly improving the value Vista brings to its cinema partners.

Following an internship with Vista in Auckland, Mischa joined the company as a Services Consultant in 2007. In 2010, Mischa moved to London to grow the capabilities of the Vista Europe delivery team, and after three more years leading major delivery projects across Europe, Mischa was appointed Managing Director for the region. Aligning with Vista’s commitment to SaaS technology, Mischa has been tasked with leading the commercial strategy for Vista Cloud.

Chris has over 25 years of technology experience in both the UK and NZ in a variety of industries from investment banking to the public sector and healthcare. Chris focuses on the pragmatic application of cloud computing and disruptive emerging technologies in the real world. As VP of Engineering, Chris is responsible for leading the Software Engineering department to deliver high-quality software and services to Vista’s customers.

John joined Vista in 2002, and has worked in a number of roles in both Auckland and London over the years, helping to create and maintain a multitude of Vista’s products. In his current role as Head of Architecture, he has the enviable job of working with Vista’s development teams around the world to ensure Vista’s products and technology platform remain world-leading.

After graduating from Webster University with a degree in Legal Studies, Tess began her career in cinema exhibition in Operations and IT. Later, she joined Vista Entertainment Solutions as an Application Consultant, and has since achieved a succession of executive-level promotions. Currently, she serves as President, Vista USA.

Over more than a decade, Till Cussmann was deeply involved in the digital conversion of movie theatres and the technical conception and implementation of infrastructure for new cinemas. Previously, as Senior Vice President of CinemaNext and its predecessor dcinex, he led re-shaping the organisation from a server manufacturer to a one-stop-shop for cinema technology. Till joined Vista in 2018 to strengthen Vista's footprint in Europe and open the Amsterdam office, before taking the role of Managing Director for EMEA in early 2021.

Tan was a Cinema Manager at the very first site where Vista was deployed in 1996. Before joining Vista, Tan worked in exhibition for more than 20 years, holding senior roles in NZ, Australia, and India. He joined the Vista team in 2014, and is now Vista’s General Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Tan relishes the opportunity to work with a broad range of exhibitors to help them deliver their brand of customer experience.

In 2013, Armando co-founded Senda Dirección Technologica, Vista’s software distributor in Latin America. Armando was co-CEO of Senda, and helped develop the business’s growth from a single customer in 1 country to having presence in more than 15 countries. In 2017, Senda was acquired by Vista Group, and Armando became co-CEO of Vista Latin America, before transitioning to CEO of Vista Latin America in 2019.
